Fav Cocktail Recipes

It’s always nice to mix up a tasty cocktail and share with a friend. We do it quiet often, actually! We’re often on the hunt for a new fav so we thought we’d share some of our top picks with you along the way!

Important to note: Sam likes her drinks strong and these recipes may be too, so mix your drinks responsibly 🙂

Feeling gin-tastic, THE GIN MARMALADE

Who’s up for trying something different? Try mixing a marmalade into your cocktail!

Ingredients (yields 1):

  • 1.5 ounces Gin
  • ½ ounce Triple Sec
  • 1 ounce lemon juice
  • 1 spoon orange marmalade (I used the kind with champagne)

Instructions:

  1. Fill shaker with ice
  2. Add Gin, Triple Sec, lemon juice, marmalade. Shake well to combine all ingredients
  3. Strain into martini or rocks glass
  4. Garnish with lemon peel if desired

 

For a refreshing change, THE SOUTHSIDE MOJITO

A perfect, refreshing touch for a busy afternoon.

Ingredients (yields 1):

  • 2 parts Gin
  • 1 part homemade simple syrup
  • 1 part club soda
  • lime
  • lemon
  • fresh mint leaves

Instructions:

  1. Fill glass with ice
  2. Add Gin, simple syrup, club soda
  3. Add a splash of lime and a splash of lemon
  4. Stir gently
  5. Garnish with fresh mint leaves
